Andrew Feldman, M.D.,
Director of Sports Medicine at Saint Vincent Medical Center,
has been practicing orthopedics for over 20 years. He is a
fellowship-trained sports medicine specialist,
board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery,
an associate
professor of orthopedic surgery at New York Medical College
and the head physician for the New York Rangers hockey team.
Dr. Feldman is a graduate of the University of Vermont
(B.A.), Cornell University Medical College (M.D.), Roosevelt
Hospital (Columbia Medical School) (General Surgery
Internship), University of Illinois (Orthopedic Surgery
Residency), and The Presbyterian Hospital (University of
Pittsburgh) (Sports Medicine Arthroscopy, Knee and Shoulder
Surgery Fellowship).
He is the
author of a best selling book (The Jock
Doc) and has published many articles in
both medical journals and popular publications. He lectures
worldwide and frequently appears in broadcast media as an
expert
medical consultant.
